Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe - Episode 6: Poaching Seashore (岸辺露伴は動かない 〜エピソード6:密漁海岸〜, Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai - Episōdo 6: Mitsuryō Kaigan) is a "one-shot" manga written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki as part of the series Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe; starring both Rohan Kishibe and Tonio Trussardi from Diamond Is Unbreakable.

This story was featured in Issue 46 of Weekly Shonen Jump, with the cover slogan 「好奇心は、漫画家を殺す」 ("Curiosity killed the Manga Artist").

Summary

Tonio seeks Rohan's help in retrieving a rare type of abalone from the sea near Morioh, as a key ingredient in a dish intended to treat Tonio's wheelchair-ridden beloved.

After warning him about the tight security of the area, they set out to follow the age-old tradition of poaching them, only to discover that in reality, the rumors and traditions surrounding the area were in fact a trap specifically designed as an method of execution against poachers since ancient times - due to the flow of the water, and the nature of the abalone, the shellfish would attach themselves to their victims and weigh them down until they drown.

However, after managing to use Heaven's Door on an octopus to catch some abalones, Tonio finally cooks the dish, serves it to his beloved and thus heals her of her disability.

Author's Note
In this episode I particularly like the moment where they say "We're going poaching" and then "That's why I like it". Rohan is someone ready to break the law to obtain something important. However, he doesn't forget to honor tradition and History. For me, he managed to survive this ordeal thanks to his respect. The cook, Tonio Trussardi, is a character from Diamond Is Unbreakable.
