Yuto Chikamori (近森 優斗, Chikamori Yūto) is a major character featured in the short story Censored Equation, that is part of the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan: Short Story Collection.[1]
Appearance
Yuto Chikamori is a man slightly younger than Rohan. He has messy hair, as if he had just woken from sleep. Chikamori wears a clean white button-down shirt, ironed khaki chino pants, and a student ID around his neck.
Personality
Chikamori is completely indifferent to things he isn't interested in. He, however, becomes quite chatty when his field of study is involved, specifically, mathematics. He is also dedicated to his job at the library, being able to bring Rohan a very large number of various books and manuscripts.

Background
Censored Equation
Yuto Chikamori is a graduate student at Shingiin University. He assists at the service counter and acts as the library’s information guide during the summer break.
Chikamori is assigned by the director of his university’s library to assist Rohan Kishibe in his research regarding extraterrestrials. He brings him a wide variety of books and manuscripts and has a short conversation with Rohan about alien contact and the Drake equation before immersing himself in his notebook, performing some calculations. When Rohan is done, Chikamori gathers the books and leaves the room with them, leaving the notebook behind. He returns to see Rohan looking through it. As the mangaka attempts to return it, Chikamori robotically warns Rohan in several different languages before returning back to normal.
