Like a Virgin (ライク・ア・ヴァージン, Raiku A Vājin), also known as Invisible Bars (見えない鉄格子, Mienai Tetsugōshi), is an item introduced in the sixth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stone Ocean. It is a key item in the "There's Six of Us!" and the "Foo Fighters" story arcs.

The Like a Virgin bracelets are special devices attached to the wrists of prisoners going to work on the farms of the prison. If the inmate gets to far from the main bracelete, the one on their wrist explodes.

Appearance

Like a Virgin is a bracelete with the big "GD" Green Dolphin Street Prison symbol on the buckle. On the other side of it are written the same letters.

History

After two prisoners who were working outside of the prison go missing, Loccobarocco and Charlotte gather all the prisoners and search for volunteers to form a search party. Once the group is formed, Loccobarocco explains to them that each member will have a tracking device attached to their wrist called Like a Virgin. The guard leading the search party explains that if anyone tries to forcefully remove the device or goes outside a 50-meter range from him, wearing the main bracelet, the Like a Virgin bracelet on their wrist will explode. After the explanation, the guard hops on a tractor and drives off, forcing the prisoners to chase after him.

All-Star Battle (PS3)

Like a Virgin appears in All-Star Battle R as a Situation Finish (シチュエーションフィニッシュ, Shichuēshon Finisshu) for the Everglades (湿地帯, Shitchi-tai) stage. In it, the defeated player is thrown backward onto their back, next to the beeping Like a Virgin. The device starts beeping faster, and then explodes next to their head.
