SBR Chapter 76
D4C (9), originally The Final Stronghold in the UJ release, is the eight hundred twenty-eighth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the seventy-sixth chapter of Steel Ball Run.
Summary
Diego triumphantly slits Valentine's throat, but fails to kill him instantly. Valentine gets some strands of his hair caught between the wheels of the train and the rails, and gathers the last of his strength to drag Diego under the wheels. Valentine subsequently escapes into another world while Diego is cut in two by the trainwheels, and dies. That death is witnessed by Johnny and Gyro, who are impressed that their rival was defeated, but the duo still decide to pursue Valentine. They enjoy one moment to confess one of each other's secret, first Gyro reveals his true name Julius Caesar Zeppeli, while Johnny confesses to having formicophilia. They then carry on to their pursuit. However Johnny looks behind him and sees that a warning sign keeps following them.
