Chaka is a minor antagonist featured in Part III: Stardust Crusaders. He is an Egyptian farmer who found Anubis in a pile of rubble.

Appearance/Personality

Chaka was a quiet young farmer who was looked down by his own father. He wasn't allowed to try anything (as no one let him try to unsheat Anubis) and was deemed as useless, but still followed his father nonetheless. He was described by Polnareff as a good and real man, as most stand users are known to attack by the back while Chaka presented himself for a face-to-face combat, but it's unknown if Chaka's personality was a little present even them or if Anubis was just overconfident. As noted by Polnareff, Chaka was an amateur at swordmanship.

Synopsis

Stardust Crusaders

Chaka was a young farmer who always was bullied by his own family, even his father, deeming him useless. When they found the Anubis sword Chaka was the only one who managed to unsheat it. Upon unsheathing the stand sword he started to hear a voice coming from it and stabbed his father by accident. The sword began to act by itself and killed one of Chaka's companions, possessed Chaka and made him kill the remaining companion. He sought to attack Jean Pierre Polnareff, presenting himself for a face-to-face battle, but was defeated after a harsh battle. Even though Polnareff shoot his sword at Chaka's neck, the injure didn't kill him, only left him immobilized.

Trivia

  • He's one of the special characters in Heritage for the Future that doesn't turn to his child form but rather, he (along with Black Polnareff) turns to the child that was possessed by Anubis.
    • Depending on if the games censorship is on or not, the colour of Chaka's blade will change. If the censorship is on, the blade is coloured brown. Strangely, Khan and Black Polnareff's swords remain unchanged.
