Abbachio is a tall man with long, white hair which is spiked at it's ends. He wears a dark purple over-coat with a open chest, like Giorno & Buccellati. He wears dark pants with black shoes as well. for a belt he has a insignia of the letter "A" in silver.

When he was younger, his hair was much shorter, like a buzz-cut. His attire consisted of a police uniform, as he was a officer.

Personality

He was shown to be a very stern man, not trusting others until they have earned it for themselves. Abbachio seemed to constantly antagonize Giorno since he was new to the gang, with criticizing his every movement & action or urinating in the cup Giorno would drink out of. He is regretful of his past, since his actions caused the death of his partner. That made him very dedicated to the mission at hand, so he could forget that terrible incident if just for a few moments.

Synopsis

History

A Young Abbachio

Abbachio became a police officer after graduating high school. He was very sincere about protecting people, but not long after he was stationed in his area, he realized his job had a lot of contradictions. Though the police officers risked their lives to protect the people, the people are not grateful, always trying to get out of punishments and sometimes even accusing the officers of not doing their job. And even the criminals who have been put away by the police can easily be released if they have enough money. Abbachio began to learn of these contradictions, and one night while on patrol, he came across a man working with a prostitute. The man said that he and the girl were just trying to help the girl's father repay his debts, and quietly hands Abbachio some money as a bribe. Abbachio is conflicted as to whether or not he should accept the money, but reasons with himself that the streets are full of people like him and even if Abbachio did send the man to jail, he could easily pay off the lawyer and judge to get out, and that he was still protecting the streets by accepting the money.

One night a thief was reported breaking into an old man's house. Abbachio and his partner arrived on the scene and split up to try and trap the thief. As Abbachio entered the house, he stumbled upon the thief, who was trying to escape through a window. It turned out the thief was the same man Abbachio had accepted the bribe from before. The man recognized Abbachio and tried to reason with him that if Abbachio let him go, the man wouldn't cause anymore trouble, but Abbachio was adamant that he was arresting the man. The man said that if Abbachio arrested him, then everyone would know that Abbachio accepted bribes. As he talked, the man began to withdraw a gun, but before he could shoot Abbachio, Abbachio's partner burst in, shooting the man, but also getting shot in Abbachio's place. Abbachio was punished for accepting the bribe but the fact that his partner died because of his corruption, haunted Abbachio. He lost his life's purpose and joined the gang, only ever happy when he received a mission of high importance, because it allowed him to forget everything else.[2]

Vento Aureo (2001)

Abbachio was introduced to Giorno as part of Buccellati's gang along with Narancia, Fugo, & Mista as someone that didn't have much respect for Giorno, even mentioning that he wasn't willing to show his stand while Giorno was around simply because he was a new member.

He shows his stand power after the attack on the boat to the six billion that Polpo left after his apparent suicide.

He, along with Giorno & Fugo, is sent to Pompeii to extract a key for the boss. It is there that Fugo is attacked by La Squadra di Esecuzione memberIlluso, dragging him into the mirror world. Fugo then activates Purple Haze, unbeknownst to him is in the other side, with Giorno & Abbachio. Abbachio alerts Giorno to run away since Purple Haze's power would instantly kill them both. He describes Purple Haze for it can only kill the two within 5 meters. Giorno wants to aid Fugo, but Abbachio is adement to leaving him since they have to obtain the key, regardless of thier feelings to help Fugo. Abbachio leaves to get the key as Giorno stays, as the two separate, Illuso attacks Abbachio pulling him into the mirror world, but to his surprise, Abbachio uses Moody Blues to fight him off, he nearly defeats him but Illuso uses Man In The Mirror to pull half of Moody Blues out & half of Abbachio in, cutting off his power by half. Abbachio sees the key & as a desparation move, he cuts off his hand & uses Moody Blues to rewind his hand's movements back to where Giorno is. Illuso taunts Abbachio as Giorno is only looking at the key instead of running off with it, however Giorno infected himself with Purple Haze's virus & in turn infecting Illuso. After Illuso is then defeated after a last-ditch effort by Giorno & Fugo, Abbachio loses consiousness wanting Giorno to learn from his actions. Buccellati later zips up Abbachio's hand to himself using Sticky Fingers.

After a few assaults from other members of La Squadra di Esecuzione, Buccellati is called by the boss to hand over his daughter Trish, but only to kill her to fully erase his identity. After Buccellati's encounter with the Boss, he declares that assisting Trish will make them traitors to Passione.  Buccellati tells everyone while boarding a boat that being on the boat would mean that they are with Buccellati & being denounced as traitors. Abbachio eagerly steps on the boat saying that "I am a man with nowhere to go, I've been in many places in this country, but the only place I feel at peace...Is with you!" with Mista follows suit. Narancia & Fugo are the only two who do not get on the boat. After Giorno, Abbachio, & Mista board the boat, Narancia asks Buccellati what to do which is replied with "This is for not you." Narancia panics over his decision to either leave Buccellati's Gang or be killed by the boss. He then sees the injuries that inflicted Trish by her father, thinking she is the same as him. He makes up his mind & jumps in the river to chase down the Gang, screaming how Trish is like him as the gang smiles over his decision. The gang leaves the area, leaving Fugo behind.

Abbachio finds his death after attempting to use his stand powers to record the happenings before a picture of the boss' daughter was taken before being taken down by a passerby.

Legacy

After his death, Abbachio held an imprint of the bosses' face in his hands leading Buccellati's gang to partially see the face of the boss.
