Personality
Gatta is shown to be rather stubborn, sticking to its territory in the cellar when Shinobu Kawajiri attempts to chase it out. After it is killed, it exhibits feelings of revenge and attacks Shinobu again, though is seemingly friendly to Yoshikage Kira until Kira himself deems the newly resurrected Stray Cat a threat. However, it is able to easily forgive Kira, and allies itself with him up until its owner's death. Interestingly, Stray Cat is shown to get along well with Okuyasu's father not long after its previous owner's death.
Synopsis
Gatta was once a normal a cat (British Blue) that was hit with an Arrow, as seen by a hole under its chin. It takes recluse in the cellar of the Kawajiri household where it accidentally gets killed by a broken glass bottle when Shinobu tries to chase it out. After being buried in their garden, its dormant stand ability brings it back to life as a plant shaped like the cat, and eventually allies itself with Kira and is subsequently referred to by its stand's name.
After the effects of Another One Bites the Dust are deactivated, Kira allows Stray Cat to inhabit the gap in Killer Queen's stomach and combine its abilities with his stand's in order to create bombs from the balls of air manipulated by Stray Cat. After Kira is defeated and dies, Stray Cat goes to live with Okuyasu's father, and is shown to get along well with its new owner.
