SBR Chapter 94
The World of the Stars and Stripes (星条旗の世界 Seijōki no Sekai), originally A New World (5) (新たな世界⑤ Arata Na Sekai 5) in the UJ release, is the eight hundred forty-sixth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the ninety-fourth chapter of Steel Ball Run.
Summary
Quickly enough, Dio stopped time to avoid Johnny's ACT 4 nail bullet. He pulled out a pistol and went towards Johnny's right side, while THE WORLD moved to the left to attack on Johnny's back. Dio's pistol jams but he manages to get it working when the time starts running again. In that moment, both him and THE WORLD attacked. Johnny moved fast enough to avoid (not without taking slightly damage) THE WORLD's attack, but he gets a bullet in the neck from Dio falling from his horse. He shoots off some nail bullets into the distance hitting THE WORLD with some of them, but only Johnny has taken massive damage. Dio then starts to explain what he just did. He intended from the start to get Johnny off his horse so that he couldn't use Tusk ACT 4 attacks. Without the power of the horse, he can't use the "infinite spin" that sealed Valentine's fate earlier. This was all explained to Dio by Funny Valentine before he was brought over into the main SBR universe.
However, Johnny’s previous shots were imbued by Infinite Spin, so we Tusk ACT 4 reached the ground and was coming for Dio. Dio climbed on his own stand's shoulders as he stating that there is only one true way to defeat the infinite spin: turn it on it's user!!! As ACT 4 starts sliding up THE WORLD's leg to go for the final blow, Dio cuts off THE WORLD's leg trapping the energy of the infinite spin in the piece of his leg, which lands directly on Johnny. Johnny’s body started to spin at a cellular level, just like Valentine's did before he died. He tries to use ACT 2 to fire at Dio, but the nail bullet just spins right back into his finger! Dio can now take his time to win the race, which he re-enters at the head of the pack! Valentine had realized that Dio was the only one who could do what needed to be done, and basically had appointed him his successor. For that purpose, he told him all about Johnny's weak point and about the body. He had even told Dio to "take the napkin as my replacement." According to Funny Valentine, with the infinite spin turned on himself, Johnny will "disintegrate from this world!"
As Dio nears the finish line, Johnny tries desperately to get back on his loyal horse Slow Dancer. However, as he reaches for the saddle, his body spins back into place on the ground!
As Johnny lies on the ground in tears, stuck in the middle of the Brooklyn bridge, with a matter of a mere 2000 meters or so to the finish line of a race that has tested his soul to it's limits and beyond, after having made the greatest friend of his life and watching him die, after approximately 6400 kilometers and 116 days, 6 hours and 12 seconds of racing across the USA, the winner of the Steel Ball Run Race is Diego Brando a total of 442 points. However, Dio wasted no time in going down to the shelter that Valentine had prepared to house the corpse and seal it away. As he is doing this, Dio reflects on more details that were imparted to him by Valentine before his death. Valentine estimates that the shelter he had built can last about 80 years. Apparently all Dio has to do is seal the corpse away in the shelter, and that way, the Trinity Church, the place where the shelter is located, will become the focus of all the luck in the entire world.
