SBR Chapter 93
High Voltage (4) (ハイ・ヴォルテージ その④ Hai Vorutēji Sono 4), originally A New World (4) (新たな世界④ Arata Na Sekai 4) in the UJ release, is the eight hundred forty-fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the ninety-third chapter of Steel Ball Run.
Summary
In the last chapter during the battle between Diego Brando and Johnny Joestar, Dio, succeeded in setting Johnny on fire using THE WORLD's ability to stop time. Yet, Johnny thinking fast used Tusk ACT 4 and opened a portal that led him to the sewers of the city, escaping from being burned alive. Even though Johnny is in the sewers, he is still able to listen the footsteps of Dio`s horse, therefore he continues chasing him. Meanwhile, Dio observes that Johnny escaped another of his attacks, but not only that, he also have lost sight of Johnny whereabouts after he disappeared completely in the ground. Johnny keep following him but there`s a problem, there is not only one footsteps he hears but many others, yet Johnny keeps is arm up ready to shoot when he discovers which footsteps belongs to Dio`s Horse. The race continues and Dio approaches the leading group of participants including Pocoloco, Norisuke Higashikata and Sloop John B. Dio starts to think that Johnny could still follow him, he knows that if he is caught by surprise in an attack of Tusk ACT 4, that will be the end for him. He refuses to let that happen, after all he is so close to reach his final destination, the one that Funny Valentine told him. I know well which one are your footsteps DIO!" Johnny said aiming in the part of the ceiling where Dio was. "Whether possesses the ability to determine someone's horse only with the horse footstep can really come in hand here". Says Dio that even knowing of the danger in which he is does not lose his attitude. Johnny shoots his nails using Tusk ACT 4 ability, Tusk travels trough the ground to finish Dio... "Well ... Not bad!" Dio thinks fast, after all he knows that Tusk ACT 4 needs to touch him for its power to work, so he uses his fans that are close to him using them as a human shield for Tusk's attack. Dio stops times and positions his fans in a way that they would be hit by Tusk, protecting him in this way. The innocent women are hit by Tusk's fist and destroyed by its power as Dio smiles happy after all he escaped a death blow. "This is not my crime... because who committed this killing... it was you Johnny Joestar“ says Dio.
While his attack occurs Johnny notes that Dio's horse footsteps stopped letting him think he could have died.
Johnny continues after he finds the exit of the sewers johnny noticing something that Dio horse footsteps started again. Only 3 km were lefts to the end of the race knowing he must stop Dio before the end line. The Brooklyn bridge, was full of runners that followed to the end of the Steel Ball Run race, between them Johnny in 5th place and Dio on 3rd place. They prepared to end they battle knowing that only one of them can cross the ending line. For his experience, Johnny estimated that Dio's ability was to stop time for no more than 5 seconds and then he prepared an plan. He plans to attack Dio getting closer to him but not enough to let Dio dodge with his five second ability.
"When I am near him, getting near to a limit place of position of 5 seconds between me and he, will be the time to shoot" "Come! Johnny Joestar", called Dio to Johnny "The end of this struggle shall arrive soon!" Johnny calls Tusk ACT 4 and shoots his fingernails while on a perfect position but before the nails hit, Dio stops the time and jumps in the air. The next five seconds will define the battle.
