Red Hot Chili Pepper
Red Hot Chili Pepper (レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパー) is the stand of Akira Otoishi featured in Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable.
Appearance/Personality
Red Hot Chili Pepper resembles an alien with a beak and a lizard-like tail. It's head bears a resemblance to pachycephalosaurids. Its body is covered in a radiant glow that slowly diminishes the longer the stand is in use without electricity. Its user Akira talks about using his stand while hiding his identity, so while Red Hot Chili Pepper appears to have a personality, Akira is simply speaking through it. After his fight with Josuke & Crazy Diamond, Red Hot Chili Pepper was thrown into the ocean, dispersing it's electrical power as well as its body. The stand itself was effectively broken, with a dismembered look as most of it's body was left into the ocean.
Abilities
- Absorbing Electricity: Red Hot Chili Pepper is capable of absorbing electricity to use as energy for a number of things, including increasing its raw strength, movement, healing its wounds, levitating, and covering itself in an electric coat. However, this strength also limits the stand's range, as it must remain near power to avoid depleting all of its strength.
- Electrical Transmission: Allows the stand to pass through electrical systems, including power wires or batteries. If Red Hot Chili Pepper holds on to an object, it can turn it into electricity and move it where it desires. This is how Akira stole many items, including his guitars. If this move is used on a living person, they are electrocuted.
- Intangibility: Red Hot Chili Pepper must absorb large quantities of electricity before turning into his Electricity Mode. Once it has achieved this mode, it is immune to attacks, as they pass harmlessly through its body. Also in this mode, Red Hot Chili Pepper will electrocute anyone it touches. However, upon depleting the electricity it has absorbed, it will exit the mode and weaken. The stand takes upon a rusted look instead of its shiny gold coat and slowly begins to vanish. If it doesn't intake electricity again the stand will die causing the user to suffer the same fate.
- Light speed movement: In an ability similar to The Hanged Man , Red Hot Chilie Pepper is able to freely move from one source of electrical power to the next at light speed (Much like how The Hanged man transfers from one reflection to another with lgiht as a medium and travels at light speed) as pointed out by Koichi's observations even claiming that only someone light Jotaro's Star Platinum would be able to keep up with such a speed ( this is also due to the advantage of being a far ranged Stand while Josuke's crazy Diamond is only short range and does not have the ability to stop time to get within range like Jotaro can).
- Faster than light reflexes: Once fully charged Red Hot Chilie Pepper is capable of attacking faster than even Josuke's Crazy Diamond; a Stand who's speed as good if not greater than Star Platinum's, before Josuke could even react.
- Masive power output: Red Hot Chilie Pepper is capable of absorbing a entire town's worth of power and use it as one powerful attack with his electricity induced fist, the attack packs as much power to fuel all of Morioh. Red hot Chilie Pepper was also able to blow off The Hand's right arm with just his pinky.

- It is unknown how the fight with Josuke & Okuyasu affected Red Hot Chili Peppers strength, whether it became much weaker or not.
