Ball Breaker, Part 1 (ボール・ブレイカー その①, Bōru Bureikā Sono 1), originally Justice and Evil, Part 5 (正義と邪悪⑤, Seigi to Jāku 5) in the UJ release, is the eighty-third chapter of Steel Ball Run and the eight hundred thirty-fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

Johnny realizes that Valentine also knows about the Golden Spin, and hurries to warn Gyro that his calculations are wrong. Gyro finally harnesses the Golden Spin, but Valentine hides when a wave hits him, escaping into a parallel world. Johnny arrives at hearing distance and yells at Gyro that the President knows about the Steel Ball, thus Gyro reconsiders his move. Two Valentines appears in the water and jump out of the water to attack.

Johnny tells Gyro to aim for the earless Valentine, but Gyro is not fooled by the ploy and guesses that the one Valentine he must defeat is the one with D4C. Gyro looks at Lucy's skin, whose fissures point behind him and he hits D4C with the Golden Spin as it jumps out of the dimensional wall to attack. D4C's hand crumbles and Valentine is forced to hide it into the gap. The Steel Ball hits the gap, but the Stand born out of the Golden Spin, Ball Breaker, appears and breaks through the wall, invading the gap in space.

Ball Breaker jumps at Valentine, causing half of his body to considerably age, and Valentine is taken down. Gyro takes back his Steel Ball and kills the alternate Valentines with only a bullet wound in the stomach; Gyro has won the duel. However, D4C and Valentine stand up, still alive.
