Maako Kitani/fr
Maako Kitani (喜谷 真亜子, Kitani Maako), surnommée Makorin (マコリン), est un personnage tertiaire de la huitième partie de JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, JoJolion. Elle a une fille et est la petite amie d'Ojiro Sasame.
Maako est la PDGof de la Société Seiten Holdings et propriétaire de l'équipe de baseball Seiten Birdies à Morioh. Elle est assez aisée et une citoyenne respectée de Morioh, mais elle est jalouse de la Famille Higashikata et leur terrain.
Apparence
Maako est une petite femme dodue avec de longs cheveux bruns ondulés. Elle porte un collier avec un médaillon en forme de «M» et une robe sans manches.
Personnalité
Maako est avide et égoïste, agissant de façon sociable et amicale avec les autres pour obtenir ce qu'elle veut. Cependant, elle est prête à dépenser généreusement son argent pour son petit ami, ignorant qu'Ojiro vole de l'argent supplémentaire et profite d'elle. Elle n'a pas peur de contourner la loi pour atteindre ses objectifs. Son appartement et son stade ont été construits sur des fondations faible et elle a dû contourner la loi pour obtenir un permis de construire.[1] Elle est également narcissique, qualifiant sa propre main de mignonne et se plaignant que Mitsuba l'ait insultée alors que Mitsuba n'était qu'une femme au foyer.[2]
Histoire
Passé
Maako Kitani est une citoyenne de Morioh. Elle a eu une carrière fructueuse en tant que femme d'affaires puisqu'elle est la PDG de sa propre entreprise, "Seiten Holdings". Elle est également propriétaire de l'équipe de baseball locale, les Seiten Birdies. Grâce à sa richesse, elle possède sa propre propriété. Cependant, elle est jalouse de la précieuse terre vallonnée qui appartient à la Famille Higashikata. En revanche, le terrain de Maako est de moins bonne qualité et elle a dû contourner la loi pour construire son stade. Maako entretient ainsi de bonnes relations avec Norisuke Higashikata IV dans l'espoir d'acquérir un jour sa terre.
Maako a une fille, mais elle n'est pas en couple. A un moment, elle devient la petite amie d'Ojiro Sasame.
JoJolion
Maako tries to alleviate the situation when the staff of her child's school and the parent council argue with Mitsuba about Tsurugi attacking his classmate Mina with the school gates. She tells Mitsuba not to worry because she's upbeat and good friends with Mina's mom so she'll be an in-between for the two to settle things out. However, Mitsuba tells Maako to move her "forepaw" off her shoulder. After Mitsuba threatens them all and leaves, Maako points out that all evidence points to Tsurugi being the culprit of the crime. Before she left, Mitsuba placed upward-pointing vectors on the coffee cups that Maako and the others were holding causing it to spill all over them.[1]
Makorin goes home to her condo afterwards. While Ojiro is in her jacuzzi, Maako declares her hate for Mitsuba and mentions about the rumors of Jobin killing his classmate to heal his incurable disease. Meanwhile, Ojiro steals some money out of her purse while she continues her rant. She realizes she's late to pick up her daughter from school and accidentally steps on Ojiro's prosthetic fingers while leaving, but she promises to buy him new ones that are way better.[2]
When Ojiro steals the Locacaca from the Higashikata house, he sends Maako pictures and evidence of Jobin's smuggling and money laundering. She later looks around her condo for Ojiro and then hears his phone ringing. Jobin explains his Stand Speed King's ability before realizing she isn't a Stand user, and then kills her by boiling her blood vessels before drowning her in her jacuzzi, where she reunites with Ojiro's corpse.[3]
