Korean Logo Contest
Korean logo contest runner-ups
A contest open to fans was held in February 2013 to design the official logo for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga in Korean.[4] The grand prize was 14 million won, to be awarded to ten people, the Excellence Award (2nd place prize) was 130 won to one winner, and 1~12 copies of the original Japanese manga were given away to the ten runner-up winners.[5]
In March 2013, the winning logos were revealed, but none of them won the grand prize to be used in the official Korean manga. The competition ended with only two people winning the Excellence Award.[6]
None of the fan designs were used in the official work because of worries of it being illegible, so one was created outside of the contest that continued to be used on all official material.
