Summary
It was included as part of the "Color Palette Bundle" DLC, which released on May 14, 2013 for consoles and August 22, 2013 on PC.[1][2]
In the reveal trailer for the character Fukua, Brain Drain asks a dog to leave and says it should become back once it learns how to "manipulate sand or something", which is a reference to Iggy and The Fool.[3]
Finishing the match using a Blockbuster with any character causes the background to change and display a portrait of the defeated character with a pained expression on their face. This is a reference to the game Heritage for the Future, which uses a similar portrait effect when characters are defeated. The shaders used for the K.O. death portraits in-game are also internally labeled as "JojosDeathPortrait" within the game's files.[4]
