Black Sabbath is the stand of Polpo featured in Part V: Vento Aureo.
Condition
Black Sabbath's signal to attack is when an individual disobeys an order given by the user: in Polpo's case, keeping a lighter lit. When the order is disobeyed, Black Sabbath appears in the nearest shadow and grabs either the spirit or stand of the victim. It then pierces the spirit/stand with an arrow from its mouth. Those with the potential will be granted stand powers, but those without the potential will be killed. Since Black Sabbath is an automatic stand, its user receives no damage due to Black Sabbath, but is unaware if it engages in combat.
Abilities
- Shadow Restriction: Black Sabbath cannot exist in sunlight. It moves through shadows, but only those big enough for him to fit.
- Strength Amplification: Black Sabbath's strength increases greatly when in the shadows, proving stronger than Gold Experience.
