Mochizuki Family Moon Viewing: Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe Episode 4 (望月家のお月見 岸辺露伴は動かない エピソード4, Mochizuki-ka no Otsukimi Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai Episōdo 4) is a "one-shot" manga written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki as part of the series Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe; starring Rohan Kishibe of Part IV.

This story was released alongside other works as part of the premiere of Shueisha's online manga distribution, Shonen Jump+.

Summary

Rohan Kishibe tells the story of the Mochizuki family, who suffers from a curse that makes them die the same day in every generation, the Harvest Moon day. The patriarch, Noboru Mochizuki, forbids everyone in the family to leave the estate, in order to protect them, and they decide to throw a party in the backyard until the fated day passes.

After enjoying the family night, they fall asleep outside. The older daughter, Aki Mochizuki, phones her boyfriend and leaves the house. A creepy rabbit-like creature then appears and follows her, as he is the one who carries the evil of the curse. When she has about to be killed by some hornets, her boyfriend proposes, making her no longer susceptible to the curse. The creature leaves, after killing a passerby, probably returning to the moon until the next Harvest Moon day.
