Josefumi Kujo
Josefumi Kujo (空条 仗世文, Kūjō Josefumi) is a major character featured in JoJolion. According to Karera Sakunami, Josefumi is the original identity and current other half of Josuke Higashikata.
Appearance
Josefumi is a man of slim to medium build and seemingly average height. He is similar to Josuke Higashikata in appearance, wearing metallic pins on his clothing and styling his hair into a pompadour with the sides of his head appearing to be shaved or simply bald. Josefumi wears a checker-patterned sweater over a loose-collared shirt with dark slacks.
Personality
Not much is known about Josefumi Kujo, as he has fused with Kira to become half of Josuke Higashikata. It could be assumed that Josuke's personality is much like Josefumi's, as much as it is also like Yoshikage Kira's.
Stand
When fighting the Aphex Brothers, they recognize the powers of Josuke's Soft & Wet as being similar to Josefumi's Stand during his life. Apparently Josefumi's Stand had the ability to steal much like Soft & Wet. However, it was not through the use of bubbles, as Josuke inherited that aspect from Kira's Killer Queen-like Stand.
Synopsis
In 1997, Josefumi nearly drowned on the beach, striking his head on a rock in the process. His life was saved when Yoshikage Kira removed a fatal blood clot that formed in Josefumi's brain due to the injury by using his stand.
Josefumi also used to know Karera Sakunami.
At one point, he was eating in the same ramen shop near the port as Ojiro Sasame. As Ojiro ran out of the shop, he accidentally bumped into Josefumi, causing the latter to spill an excessive amount of pepper into his ramen, which he soon removed using his Stand. Kira quickly recognized him afterwards.
Sometime after this incident, he took a photo with Kira and Karera.
According to Yotsuyu Yagiyama, he once tried, but failed to kill Josefumi.
Eventually, Josefumi apparently met up with Kira and was buried together with him under the ground. A Wall Eye sprung up around that area, and the Protagonist emerged, with parts of Josefumi's body and mind fused to his own.
After Josuke meets Karera, she identifies him as Josefumi, which leads Josuke to stay with her to learn more about who Josefumi was, realizing that he must be the other half of himself who had fused with Kira. Josuke later learns during his fight with the A. Phex Brothers that they knew Josefumi as well, and Josefumi's Stand is similar in ways to Soft & Wet.

Trivia
- Josefumi is the first prominently-named Kujo to appear in JoJolion.
- His pompadour and metallic pins are likely references to the original Josuke Higashikata.
- His eyes bear a resemblance to those of Crazy Diamond.
- Along with having a star-shaped birthmark, Josefumi Kujo's name makes him a JoJo.
- As he has this birthmark, it can be assumed he is related to the Joestar Family.
- The pronunciation of his name Josefu is the same as Joseph in Japanese.
