Higashikata Fruit Company
The Higashikata Fruit Company (東方フルーツ会社, Higashikata Furūtsu Kaisha), also known commercially as the Higashikata Fruit Parlor, is a Japanese corporation that imports, trades and sells luxury and high-end fruits. It was established and founded by Norisuke Higashikata I after the legendary Steel Ball Run race, using the prize money to establish his company. The company led to the success of the Higashikata Family, where it is currently run by Norisuke Higashikata IV.
The Higashikata Fruit Company specializes in selling several luxury fruits based on season, such as Ruby Roman grapes and pickled plums. The fruits are incredibly expensive and are sold under extravagant names, such as Versailles and Jirou. However, behind the scenes the company also has specialists that research the mystical Rokakaka fruit. The company serves as the alternate universe equivalent of the Speedwagon Foundation.
