Tsurugi Higashikata is the son of Jobin Higashikata and Mitsuba featured in Part VIII: Jojolion.

Appearance/Personality

Despite being a young boy, Tsurugi, like the first born sons in the Higashikata family for their first 12 years of life, is raised as a girl to ward off a curse. The majority of his face is covered by a large pair of black sunglasses. Aside from this, his attire consists of a scarf, a polka-dot dress and a pair of flats.

He also displays a seemingly obsessive interest in origami, and harbors an unusual interest in the scent of Yasuho Hirose's hair.

Synopsis

As Jobin's "daughter", he appears to fit in quite well in the Higashikata family. He was present during the family photo and was introduced by Norisuke Higashikata IV. He is usually being carried around by Mitsuba. Later, while Yasuho is walking by a tree, she is kidnapped by Tsurugi & taked to the Higashikata's basement. He plays with her while hiding her phone but she wants to leave, however she doesn't have her phone & demands it. It is there that she determines Tsurugi's true gender. Tsurugi explains that every boy in the Higashikata family is raised as a girl until his 12th birthday to ward off a curse. When Yasuho gets a text from Josuke, Tsurugi tells her to stay instead. When she finds the phone it is folded like a frog & attacks her.
