Memory of Jet (メモリー・オブ・ジェット) is a stand featured only in The Book: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 4th Another Day. It's user is Teruhiko Futaba.
Synopsis / Appearance
The stand has no appearance. (Although the picture suggests the area around the individual it targets has a gaslike substance surrounding it.) Teruhiko Futaba obtained the stand after having been stabbed by one of the arrows when he visited an Antique shop in Europe. Since then, he has been using it's ability to keep Akari Hirai in an alley between two buildings after having pushed her down there.
Abilities
- Exclusion: The stand creates a designated area that prevents a targeted individual from leaving it. This "Exclusion zone" is set inside the consciousness of the person and is essentially a mental barrier. When the stand is activated, the target goes into a state of mind where they think "for some reason, I should not approach anything up to that point," and thus are confined into certain parameters. The effect of stand is maintained on an annual basis, as long as the individual is not forcibly released, or dies.
Trivia
- While the ability can last as desired, it is unknown how long the stand power lasts on it's own, and whether or not the user needs to continue to visit the target to recharge it.
