Summary
After Jack the Ripper escapes in the tunnels, Zeppeli hands Jonathan a cup full of wine, telling him to follow the Zombie and kill it alone and without spilling the wine. He explains that "The Northern Wind made the Vikings", meaning that mankind can only grow through challenges, and that is what Zeppeli intends for Jonathan to do. In the maze of tunnels, Jonathan is soon forced to wander without any light as to not indicate his position, but the Zombies can still smell him and prepares an ambush. Jonathan understands that the wine imbued with Ripple can indicate the Zombie's position to him, and kill Jack by sending the Ripple through a wall. The trio subsequently reach Windknight's Lot.
In the outskirts of the town, a young kid named Poco steals the party's bag. They follow Poco up to a graveyard and find themselves surrounded by Zombies. Dio used Poco as a lure to get his enemies into a weak position, and now that night has fallen, he can defeat them. Jonathan, Zepelli and Speedwagon manage to fend off the Zombie, and Zeppeli jumps toward Dio to finish him off. However Dio has developed a freezing technique which freezes Zeppeli's arm and incidentally blocks the flow of the Ripple. Jonathan then rush to the rescue.
