Learn More English with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure!!

Not again... It's the 'Bloody Joestar' again... (だが まさか………また「ジョースターの血統」が……)

Learn More English with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure!! (『ジョジョの奇妙な冒険』で英語をもっと学ぶッ!!, "JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken" de Eigo o Motto Manabu!!) is the second English study guidebook released as part of the Learn English with JoJo series. It was released in Japan on August 25, 2016, with a digital version following on February 3, 2017.

Much like the first, the book was published by Shueisha and supervised by heavy metal guitarist Marty Friedman. It includes famous scenes and quotes from Parts 5 through 7 of the JoJo manga.

Summary

I am very honored to be able to participate in the second edition of the "JoJo × English" series. Because Learn English with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! had a good reputation, I am very happy. I think that in learning a foreign language, "having an interest" and "thinking you want to know" are the "key to the treasure." I think it has become an inexpensive, ideal book for the JoJo fan. Also, because it has "deep" conversation different from the usual content in JoJo works, I think you will be able to speak about things regarding the profound place of human life. By all means, please enjoy and read this deep expression.
—Marty Friedman

Like the first book, Learn More English is a conversational English instruction guide for the Japanese demographic, supervised by Marty Friedman of Megadeth fame. The book is divided into four sections and consists of quotes from Vento Aureo, Stone Ocean, and Steel Ball Run:

  1. Memorable Scenes: Includes 22 scenes of full-on dialogue between characters.
  2. Emotions: Covers emotional states such as rage, fear, and fun.
  3. Heroes: Includes memorable quotes from protagonists throughout the series.
  4. Villains: Includes memorable quotes from antagonists throughout the series.

The book also includes a section explaining various parts of grammar, including Foreign Words in English, Adjectives Ending in -ed, Future and Past Tense, To Get the Hang of "Be" is to Get the Hang of English!, and Subjunctive Past. It also includes various specific topics such as Marriage Vows and Travel English Dialogue. Combined with the first book, Learn More English aims to provide a wide range of English grammar knowledge.[3]

Unlike the majority of Japanese books, this one is read from left to right instead of the usual right-to-left format.
