Akira Otoishi (音石 明, Otoishi Akira) appears in Diamond Records as a playable character in both the Action Battle and Tactical Battle game modes. He has a variety of unlockable statues between the 'Fighting Spirit' and 'Solitary' types, ranging from 3 stars to 6 stars. Otoishi's moveset in both game modes is comprised of various attacks inspired by the anime, using his stand Red Hot Chili Pepper.

Otoishi's basic attack string is a combination of up to five various strikes from Red Hot Chili Pepper. In Tactical Battle, this is cut down to only three hits.

Otoishi plays his guitar and buffs himself.

Otoishi charges up an attack using Red Hot Chili Pepper based on how long the attack button is held. When fully charged, a miniature plane is sent after opponents. In Tactical Battle, this hits all opponents present on the stage. (Unlockable)
