Catch the Rainbow
Catch the Rainbow (キャッチ・ザ・レインボー, Kyatchi Za Reinbō) is the Stand of Blackmore, featured in Steel Ball Run.
Appearance
Blackmore wears Catch the Rainbow as a mask. A heavy supraorbital ridge of a vaguely troubled angle hangs over its eyeholes. It has no nose, and in the region of the mouth it bears a row of five long, vertical slits, dotted by five holes.
Light overall, it is marked by three colorful stripes crossing from its left eye to its right cheek. The stripes were designed to be a rainbow version of a hockey mask. [1]
Abilities
Rain Manipulation: Catch the Rainbow allows its user to utilize or manipulate rain in various novel ways.
Blackmore may stop raindrops in their place and tread a path across them.
If a target attempts to move through rain stopped by this Stand, the drops will tear and penetrate them.
Blackmore is seemingly able to meld with rain, becoming intangible like water and nigh invincible, and project various parts of his body out of raindrops, as if they were portals.
Blackmore demonstrates the ability to plug his wounds with rain drops and stem all bleeding.
Crucially, this Stand is effective only when it rains.
