References range in nature from tribute to plagiarism. Many are comic, while the "JoJo poses" in particular cross into greater cultural significance, with the greatest examples being those reproduced by a handful of popular Japanese performing artists.

Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog

An Off-Panel from issue #270

The 270th issue of Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series, features an Off Panel comic strip in the back of the issue portraying Sonic and Knuckles as Kenshiro of Fist of the North Star and Jotaro respectively. Knuckles's quote is referencing Jotaro's quote said after DIO was killed by him at the end of Chapter 264, "There's only one reason you lost, DIO... just one simple reason. You pissed me off." The theme of the strip refers to the manliest of anime and concludes with Knuckles and Sonic engaging while shouting "OraOraOra" and "MudaMudaMuda".

Batman

Instigator fighting Ghost-Maker

In Batman Annual Vol 3 2021, the way Instigator is shown punching Ghost-Maker in a panel visually references the punch barrages present in the series. In the same panel, the surrounding sound effects are "Muda! Muda! Muda!", referencing DIO's battle cry. The issue was illustrated by Ricardo López Ortiz, who is a fan of the series.

Golden Time

Golden Time (골든 타임) is a manhwa written by Ryu Hyang and illustrated by Heewon based on the South Korean novel of the same name. In Chapter 68 of the webtoon adaptation, the protagonist, Alex, searches for clues about the identity of Prince Eden. When he questions what "symbol" of the royal family Eden had, he wonders if it was a "star-shaped mole on the back of his neck".

IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog

In the 32nd issue of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series published by IDW Publishing, the way that Sonic walks towards Dr. Eggman in a panel references the panel of DIO and Jotaro Kujo approaching each other in Chapter 256.

On cover D of the 50th issue, Surge is shown doing DIO's "Wryyy" pose from Heritage for the Future.

Adam Bryce Thomas illustrated the 32nd issue, and cover D of the 50th issue was illustrated by Jonathan Gray, both of whom are fans of the series.

IDW's Transformers

Cybertronians that look like Josuke Higashikata and Rohan Kishibe are present in IDW Publishing's Transformers #18 and Transformers: Galaxies #8. Arcee questions a cybertronian resembling Rohan in Transformers #18, who is shown standing next to a cybertronian resembling Josuke. In the background of Transformers Galaxies #8, the cybertronians resembling Rohan and Josuke are seen standing next to each other. Both issues were co-illustrated by Umi Miyao, who is an avid fan of the series.

Live with Yourself!

Babs stand

In Ep.29 of online webtoon Live with Yourself! by Shen, Tomo discovers Babs can pull objects into his timeline by observing them which results to said objects into aging rapidly, such as growing a tree from a seed. And when Todd came back, Tomo strikes this pose with Babs as a Stand. Also the episode is titled "Killer Queen", likely named after Yoshikage Kira's Stand, Killer Queen.

Lumberjanes

In Volume 67 of Lumberjanes, the two goddesses Diane and Irpa walk towards each other, mimicking the walking poses made by Jotaro and Dio near the end of part 3.

Oni's Rick and Morty

In the 22nd issue of the Rick and Morty comic book series published by Oni Press, Rick calls for reinforcements from The Citadel of Ricks and one of the Ricks depicted has his hair in the style of Josuke Higashikata's iconic pompadour and his jacket top is spread apart like Josuke's uniform as well. Rick also insults the officer's hairstyle like how various characters insulted Josuke's hair in Diamond is Unbreakable.

Snotgirl

In the commentary of "Snotgirl Volume 2: California Screaming" Leslie Hung notes the influence of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure on the design of the Blue Dress.
It first appears just before the main protagonist, Lottie Person, and her friends go to San Diego.

X-Man

Nathaniel's first use of the psionic armor

In X-Man Annual Vol 1 1998, Nate Grey summons psionic armor around himself during his battle with the Hulk and Thanos. At one point while in Thanos's grip, he lets the armor explode to escape and has it form around the Hulk to assist him in fighting Thanos. The appearance of the armor is based on the design for DIO's Stand, The World. This issue was illustrated by Christopher Williams (aka ChrisCross), who is an avid fan of the series.

This design for the armor was thus used in a couple following issues, specifically in the 44th issue of X-Man before Nate's second fight with Nemesis and the 47th issue when Nate goes to strike Stryfe. The design for the armor was greatly simplified in subsequent issues.
