Man in the Mirror (マン・イン・ザ・ミラー, Man In Za Mirā) is the Stand of Illuso featured in Vento Aureo.
Abilities
- Mirror World Entry: Man in the Mirror enables its user to enter a "mirror world", where everything is a mirror image of itself and it is devoid of other lifeforms. It also allows the user to drag other lifeforms into the mirror. Only those Illuso or Man in the Mirror are about to drag into the mirror can see him, even if others are looking directly at the mirror. Breaking the mirror does not stop this ability and actually creates more openings to the mirror. Individual parts of the victim can also be dragged into the mirror. If another Stand user is dragged into the mirror, the user can choose whether or not to allow his Stand to enter with him. Since only another Stand can harm a Stand, Man In The Mirror is practically invincible inside the mirror world as long as another Stand doesn't enter. However, Man In The Mirror is weak compared to other Stands and can easily be physically overpowered. Any actions in the actual world is "reflected" in the mirror and occurs for seemingly no reason. The user can leave the mirror world through any reflective surface, leaving trapped individuals inside without a way to escape.
Trivia
- According to JOJOVELLER, its ability is inspired by Michael Jackson's song while its design is based on a Venetian costume making the Stand look like a Tengu.
- Interestingly, this Stand completely refutes Noriaki Kakyoin's claim that there was no such thing as a "mirror world", when he fought J. Geil.
