Kiss
Kiss (キッス, Kissu) is the Stand of Ermes Costello featured in Stone Ocean.
Appearance
Kiss is an humanoid Stand of athletic build, similar to Ermes'.
Its body is covered in was appears to be a dark jumpsuit, over which there are light shoulder pads, knee pads, and arm gloves sharing a metallic texture. On its chest is a vertical studded metallic slab on which is spelled the name "Kiss".
Its head, also having a metallic texture, is bald except for a number of straight of spikes giving the appearance of a crown. There is no ear but two studs in their place.
Kiss is covered in lip-designed stickers, particularly on the neck, arms and head.
Abilities
Ermes receives this Stand after Gwess gives her Jolyne's amulet that she had picked up. She discovers it during her first medical care visit in prison after being pierced by the Arrow.
Stickers: Kiss is able to place lip-designed stickers on objects, causing them to rapidly produce an exact copy of the original. When the sticker is removed, the two fuse back into one almost immediately and with great force, causing a fissure and effectively damaging the object. These stickers can be used effectively by refusing two objects together when an enemy is standing between them, or refusing an enemy's body part to cause damage. The user can also double their own body parts to block an oncoming attack, but the body part must eventually refuse.
Super Strength: Besides its copying ability, Kiss' strength and speed are top tier and rival even Jolyne Cujoh's Stone Free.
Trivia
- Ermes' chapter covering her history is called "Kiss of Love & Revenge." Throughout it she repeats that she will get "Revenge" and it is normally highlighted in the text. This is most likely a reference to the Kiss album of the same name, Revenge.
