Template:Volume box The Thirst for Blood! (血の渇き！, Chi no Kawaki!) is the second volume of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the second volume of Phantom Blood. It covers the ending of the battle at Ogre Street up to Wang Chan's transformation into a zombie.

It was New Year, around 20 years ago. My grandfather and I went to the cemetery to steal "takenohanasashi".* My grandfather then broke them into long, thin sticks and made me a 60cm kite. On the front of the kite, he painted in ink the character for "fly" (飛). The kite flew up high on a strong wind and so I had a lot of respect for my grandfather.
