Dio, who possessed the secret of eternal youth, stole Jonathan's body and returned to life by fusing with it. Dio, ruler of the dark, is now secretly plotting to take over the world. Ironically, Jonathan's descendants have sensed what his resurrection will entail. These descendants are Joseph Joestar and Jotaro Kujo. This novel tells of a bizarre adventure, in which Jonathan's descendants and their trusted friends fight to defeat Dio.[6]
