The JOJOLands - Chapter 20
Lulu and Bobby Jean, Part 3 (ルルちゃんとボビー・ジーン その③, Ruru-chan to Bobī Jīn Sono 3), originally titled Glory Days, Part 2 (グローリー・デイズ その②, Gurōrī Deizu Sono 2), is the twentieth chapter of The JOJOLands and the nine hundred seventy-seventh chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary
Bobby Jean shoots several bullets into the restroom stalls to try finding where Jodio is hiding. Jodio struggles to breathe due to the pulmonary edema caused by Bags Groove, as the Stand continues punching his pulmonary artery and causing fluid to leak from his mouth and nose. Bobby analyzes how Jodio's Stand works, recognizing that the water drops have about a 3 meter diameter and can pierce through muscle if they hit their target. Bobby then fires Glory Days in the gaps of every stall. Jodio surrounds himself with November Rain's rain drops, reflecting the bullets away from him.
Bobby kicks open the stall's door, seeing Jodio on the ground with rain falling on him. As Jodio moves his left hand to his pocket, Bobby warns him to refrain from making any suspicious moves. However, he changes his mind upon remembering that one of them should be carrying the Lava Rock. He offers to make Jodio a deal, demanding that Jodio takes everything out of his pockets and shows them to him. As Bobby Jean approaches Jodio, spattered water droplets on the ceiling drip onto his hat. While Jodio mentions that he doesn't have the Lava Rock, the water pierces through Bobby Jean's head and shoots out of his neck.
Seeing Bobby Jean collapse to his death, Lulu runs over to his side and wails. Losing her composure causes her Stand to deactivate and all of the Bags Groove units exit the bodies of their victims, running over to Lulu. With the ability deactivated, Usagi is healed, surprised and happy to see Dragona and him are in bed together. However, he wonders what's going on when he sees that Charming Man is also there, watching them. Meanwhile, Jodio tells Lulu that once she's done crying, they'll be taking her with them when they leave the hospital.
Paco wakes up in the ICU, where a doctor informs him that he had minor injuries after being shot in the elevator. They sealed his wounds, but Paco is more concerned about his clothes and boots, hoping they weren't cut off since they cost $2000. The doctor tells him to rest and leaves the room, so Paco takes the opportunity to take his clothes back from the locker. Jodio and Dragona find Paco, and Dragona informs him of the situation; Howler knows who they are and about the Lava Rock. Moreover, there are cops surrounding the lower floor of the hospital. Usagi and Charming Man are there, so they can leave once Usagi alters the security cameras. Jodio notices a bag in the locker and wonders what it is, but Paco assumes it was left with his stuff by accident.
Jodio checks the ID and documents in the bag, learning that it belongs to Yokohama, the general manager of Dolphin Bank's corporate sales division. Yokohama is lying in an ICU bed next to Paco's. Jodio realizes the bag being placed with Paco's clothes wasn't a coincidence, learning about Howler's debt to the bank. Meanwhile, Sophie was also healed and leaves her wheelchair, telling her dad that she's fine and will be going to a hotel beach party at night. Congressman White's assistant is surprised that he signed the approval about Howler's land impropriety. White initially questions whether he actually approved it, but convinces himself that he did and is determined that Howler won't get away with his crimes.
Jodio explains what the documents mean and how the bank employees are even worse people than Howler, since they were essentially scamming him into paying them 30 billion dollars. Jodio plans on using the documents to collect the debt in the bank's place, taking both Howler and the bank down. Jodio tells Paco to carry Yokohama so that they can bring him with them back to Meryl Mei's place, though Dragona is unsure whether he's even still alive.
