Kailua-Kona - Flight Waiting Time, Part 3 (カイルア・コナ - フライト待ち時間 その③, Kairua Kona - Furaito Machijikan Sono 3), originally titled THE Hustle, Part 2 (THE ハッスル その②, Za Hassuru Sono 2), is the eleventh chapter of The JOJOLands and the nine hundred sixty eighth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary

Dragona summons Smooth Operators to remove the wound on their neck by pulling on it to slide onto a bottle of wine. The Stand is successful, which breaks the bottle in half as Dragona coughs out a few drops of blood. Usagi is extremely relieved to see that Dragona is fine. As he cries tears of relief, he confesses that he realized on this trip that he loves Dragona. However, Dragona rejects him by claiming both them and their brother aren't interested in that kind of thing. He changes the subject, mentioning they can't let the Lava Rock thief get away. Paco explains that it'll be difficult to track him down since he messes with their depth perception and perspective, so they don't even know if he's walking on the ground. Usagi asks Dragona to wish for a metal detector so THE MATTEKUDASAI can transform into one, which would allow them to detect the guy's knife. Instead, Paco points out that Jodio managed to injure the guy's right leg with his rain, which left a trail of blood.

They follow the trail to the parking lot. Paco grabs the neck of a random man getting out of his car, in order to check if his skin feels gritty like sand. This man was an ordinary person; he runs away, threatening to report them to the police. They head to the car beside it, where drops of blood are on the hood. At the same time, Leo and his girlfriend return to the same car. Leo asks the gang to get out of their way so he can move his car. Paco grabs Leo's neck instead, but realizes he can't tell if the man's skin is gritty or not because it's sticky from the sunscreen and he also has a beard. He demands to see both of their ankles so they can check if they're injured or not. As Jodio opens the door on the passenger side, he feels sand.

The enemy reveals himself fused to the door, with his knife pointed at Leo's girlfriend. Jodio quickly grabs the man's hand and kicks the woman away. The man then shatters the door's window with his knife, knocking Jodio down. As Jodio summons November Rain, Leo yells at him for harming his girlfriend and breaking his window. The enemy disappears again. Leo continues berating them, so Paco threatens to actually injure him if he doesn't stop. Jodio worries about how they could find the enemy now, since there's no blood trail anywhere. Suddenly, the watch of Leo's girlfriend falls off her wrist and rolls away toward the sea. Leo tries picking it up, but it keeps escaping from his hands as if it's running away, making his girlfriend angry.

Dragona reveals that even the diamond is rolling toward the beach, lured toward the Lava Rock. Usagi wonders how they could hope to find him now if he's swimming in the water, but Jodio declares they can still corner him by luring him to attack them. Using the diamond as a radar to see the direction he's in, Paco warns Dragona to be cautious and not to drop it into the water. Jodio clarifies that his Stand's range is a radius of 3 meters and a height of 4 meters, but the rain would only reach the water's surface. Paco decides to check the rubber rafts. Usagi worries about their enemy being too dangerous for them, but Dragona is confident that they will be the winners as long as they don't let their fears overtake them.

Fused with a splash of water, the enemy emerges behind Paco, about to stab him. He disappears for a moment then re-emerges and slashes Paco's left leg. Before he could pierce Paco's neck, Jodio stops his arms from behind and drags him into the water. The man asserts he was kind enough to give Jodio a chance before. He manages to turn around and is about to cut Jodio's neck, but November Rain activates and crushes the man with its raindrops, shattering the knife in half. Jodio and the enemy sink deep in the water, but the man gains the upper hand again and pins Jodio down, holding the broken edge of his knife to Jodio's neck. Jodio's November Rain continues its downpour, so Usagi gets the message and helps him by kicking an inflatable raft toward the rain. As the raft sinks right behind Jodio, he manages to breathe in air from the bubbles flowing from the holes in the raft. Thus, Jodio plans to see how long the enemy could last without breathing.

Dragona assumes Jodio should be all right. Paco suddenly discloses that although he said he would kill their opponent before, he now wants to make him their ally instead. He has a feeling that the guy might actually be a good person. Although Jodio saw the heads of Wild Cat Size in their bag earlier, Paco checked it out after and it was actually just three potatoes. That means the man just pretended he killed the cats using his ability as a trick. Paco thinks it could be a win-win situation for both of them, as the guy probably knows more about the Lava Rock than Rohan as well. He tells Dragona to inform Jodio not to let the man drown.

Meanwhile, a sleeping fisherman wakes up to a fish caught on his rod. Inside the fish's mouth is the expensive watch which previously rolled away. As Leo is still desperately looking for the watch, his girlfriend insults him and blames him for kicking it into the sea. She leaves Leo behind, announcing she'll get a ride with someone else.
