JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia (ジョジョの奇妙な百科事典, JoJo no Kimyō na Hakkajiten) is a wiki dedicated to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and the works of the manga artist Hirohiko Araki.
History
The site was originally created on January 9, 2008 on the wiki hosting platform Fandom, formerly known as Wikia. The wiki remained hosted on Fandom for 11 years until forking to a new site in 2019. The decision to fork to a different site was made due to the various controversies surrounding the management of Fandom and their choice to move away from wiki-related content since rebranding that same year.
Forking
On October 14, 2019, the wiki officially forked to a new site on an independently hosted domain.
JoJo News
JoJo-News was created as an addition to the wiki portion of JoJo’s Bizarre Encyclopedia. This website serves as an easily accessible archive of all the news related to Hirohiko Araki and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

2008
- January 9, 2008: The wiki is created at jjba.wikia.com. The same day, the 1st article is created.
- October 10, 2008: The 100th article is created.
2009
- September 1, 2009: The 200th article is created.
2010
- March 13, 2010: The 300th article is created.
2011
- December 7, 2011: The 400th article is created.
2012
- July 26, 2012: MetallicKaiser becomes an administrator.
- July 28, 2012: The 500th article is created.
- October 11, 2012: The 600th, 700th, 800th, and 900th articles are created.
- October 13, 2012: The 1000th article is created.
2013
- April 15, 2013: The 1500th article is created.
2014
- January 2014: The wiki's domain is switched to jojo.wikia.com.
- June 24, 2014: The JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia Twitter account is created by MetallicKaiser.
2016
- April 30, 2016: The 2000th article is created.
- October 28, 2016: Vish becomes a moderator.
- December 14, 2016: Nabu becomes a moderator.
2017
- June 15, 2017: Vish becomes an administrator.
- October 7, 2017: Morganstedmanms becomes a moderator.
2019
- January 27, 2019: The wiki's domain is switched to jojo.fandom.com.
- October 14, 2019: The new independent website at jojowiki.com is created by Vish.
- November 4, 2019: The JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia Discord server is created.
- November 23, 2019: The wiki officially forks from jojo.fandom.com to jojowiki.com. (Read more)
- December 10, 2019: Dark Mode is added to the wiki, which can be selected by users here.
2020
- March 16, 2020: The 2500th article is created.
- November 2, 2020: The 3000th article is created.
2021
- March 17, 2021: Fr0stiFusionZ and FrizzleLamb become moderators.
- April 5, 2021: The Jolyne Theme is added to the wiki in commemoration of the Stone Ocean anime adaptation announcement, which can be selected by users here.
- April 6, 2021: The Part 2 and Part 4 Themes are added to the wiki.
- April 13, 2021: The 3500th article is created.
- April 14, 2021: The wiki reaches over 500,000 edits.
- August 26, 2021: The 4000th article is created.
- September 22, 2021: The JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia news website is launched at jojo-news.com.
- October 2, 2021: The Part 1 Anime Theme is added to the wiki.
2022
- February 6, 2022: JoJodle is launched, which can be played here.
- April 2, 2022: The Diesel theme is added to the wiki after April Fools, which can be selected by users here.
