Paisley Park (ペイズリーパーク) is the Stand of Yasuho Hirose from Part VIII: JoJolion.

Synopsis

Yasuho's Stand Paisley Park first manifests itself as an entity controlling Josuke's cellphone navigation application, seemingly sending him in the wrong direction to reach Morioh University Hospital, only to later discover that the app's directions are saving him from an attack by the mysterious biker. While Yasuho attempts to talk to Holly Kira, Holly notes that Yasuho's shadow is displaying her Stand, a humanoid female figure with a map covering it in a paisley pattern with several parking lot symbols on it.[1] In a later instance, Paisley Park seemingly controls the events around Yasuho, allowing her to enter the hospital after being mistaken as a patient so she can discover what has happened to Holly, and also seems to help her research items on her phone with ease.

Abilities

Paisley Park's abilities have not been fully explained, as Yasuho is not consciously aware of her Stand yet, but they seem to involve getting people to the proper destination, whether through electronic means, such as giving directions through a phone's GPS system, or physical means, such as causing a chain of events allowing one to enter a building through mistaken identity. This stand's ability also allows one to find information relating to their goal or destination including old 18th century news articles.

Trivia

  • Prior to this Stand's naming in JoJolion Volume 4, fans believed its name may be "Born This Way", as its debut chapter featured the other song in the title and the lyrics state "I'm on the right track", suggesting the direction leading component. In Volume 4, it was later revealed that Born This Way was the Stand of Kyou Nijimura, having been renamed from "Going Underground".
