Nut King Call
Nut King Call (ナット・キング・コール, Natto kingu kōru) is the Stand of Joshu Higashikata, featured in Part VIII: JoJolion.
Appearance
Nut King Call materializes first as a couple of plain nuts and bolts in the hand and wrist of a thug that attacks Joushuu on Extortion Road. Its humanoid form appears soon after; screws embedded both in the sides of its head and its spindly arms; two shield-shaped eyes, and a ruff collar of sorts composed of many nuts and bolts. On its forehead rests a large V (reminiscent of Riderman of Kamen Rider). Its face and arms are also textured with slight ridges.
Abilities
Nuts & Bolts: Joshu's Stand can plant nuts and bolts on a target, creating an artificial joint. When a nut is removed from a bolt, the joint is dissassembled, breaking up his target. These separations seem to undo themselves when a target is far away from Joshu (a thug confronting Joshu found his hands reattatched, though on the wrong arms, after Joshu escapes).
Trivia
- This Stand works in a way comparable to Sticky Fingers, while planting screws instead of zippers.
- The name of the Stand functions by how 'nut' and 'nat' are both pronounced 'natto' in Japanese.
