Summary
As Josuke and Okuyasu walk home from school, Okuyasu notices a sign leading to a new Italian restaurant by the name of Trattoria Trussardi. Josuke notices that it leads toward the nearby cemetery, but Okuyasu shows he's not below manipulation when it comes to getting what he wants, guilt-tripping Josuke into coming with him anyway. When they arrive at the restaurant, Josuke notices that the menu is 'up to the customer'. As they enter, they are greeted by the Italian sole owner, chef, and waiter of Trattoria Trussardi: Tonio Trussardi. Impressed by the restaurant's interior, Okuyasu reveals he's "always liked" Italian design and other Italian things, showing great excitement for being able to try authentic Italian cuisine.
After the pair sit down at their table, Okuyasu asks for a menu. Tonio responds by explaining how there is no actual menu, and that he will instead determine what he makes for the customer based on his observations. Tonio manages to accurately point out Okuyasu's health problems, saying that he has traveled around the world to study culinary arts that will relieve people of their health problems.
Tonio heads for the kitchen to start preparing the meal. Josuke reveals his caution for healthy restaurant food, worrying that despite how it's "good for you", it usually turns out to be disgusting. However, as he says this, Okuyasu takes a sip of water, and is amazed at how good it tastes. Okuyasu begins to cry uncontrollably to the point where his eyes began to deflate. Tonio returns with the first dish, and upon Josuke confronting him about the situation, he explains that the water was meant to cleanse Okuyasu's eyes as well as relieve his insomnia. Okuyasu finally stops crying and mentions that his sleepiness is gone and that he has never felt better. Tonio then introduces the appetizer for Okuyasu, which is a Caprese Salad.
