Despite the variety of powers shown throughout the series, no Stand has the ability to truly bring back a person whose soul has departed. Once a life is taken, it can never come back. Any Stands that appear capable of resurrection do so under various caveats. Gold Experience's life energy allowing Bruno Bucciarati to continue on for some time but was merely a corpse still, Limp Bizkit brings dead life forms back to "life" as ravenous "zombies", Civil War reviving Axl RO due to materializing Johnny Joestar's guilt of killing him, or by merely resuscitating their target.
