In the book, Araki discusses the techniques used for creating manga, along with developing stories and world-building. The book was released on April 17, 2015 in Japan. An english release for the book, titled 'How to Create Manga', was announced at the Shonen Jump panel of Anime Expo 2016.[1]

In Hirohiko Araki's Manga Technique Araki talks about how 'Manga is the greatest "complete work of art" (artwork that integrates music, poetry, and acting)', and his secret techniques for drawing and creating manga are unveiled. While touching on the vital 'Golden Ratio of Beauty' for drawing, the story-creation method he learned from Hemmingway and other concrete methodology, he goes about explaining how to create. In addition, the band shows a double-portrait of both Araki doing a self-portrait and the character from 'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure', Kishibe Rohan .
