Jump Super Stars (DS)
Gyro appears as a support and help character. His supports causes either paralysis or the "shock" status effect, as Gyro is summoned and throws his Steel Balls at the opponent, and his help koma increases the affected battle character's speed.
At the game's release, "Steel Ball Run" was listed as a different franchise, instead of Jojo's PART VII; Gyro appears as the series' main representative character.
Jump Ultimate StarS (DS)
Appears again as a support and help character. His supports cause either paralysis or the "shock" status effect, and his help koma increases the battle character's special attack gauge.
Unlike the previous game, Gyro is now listed as part of the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure franchise, as well one of two Part 7 characters in the game, alongside Johnny Joestar.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle (PS3 Game)
Gyro Zeppeli was one of the first four characters announced for the game, the others being: Jotaro, Wamuu, and Joseph Joestar (Part 2). He's voiced by Shin Ichiro Miki.
Gameplay wise, Gyro posses two small Steel Balls near his HHA/GHA bar; if one is launched during a match, the player needs to wait until the ball returns in order to use it again. There's also another bar that allows Gyro to use the Steel Balls much faster when fully charged.
The Steel Balls work as Gyro's main moveset and can be launched in three different ways. The first is a regular throw that works as a projectile attack. As it moves through the air, if the player throws another one, the first steel ball will move again in the opponent's direction with longer range and power. The second method hits hard, launching the opponent away and the third makes Gyro throw both of his Steel Balls on the ground very slowly; if they hit, the steel balls cause a small tornado above the opponent.
Being one of the few Part 7 characters alongside Johnny Joestar, Gyro can ride his horse, Valkyrie, during a match, making all of his previous moves more powerful. Also by riding his horse, Gyro gains two extra moves: one being a powerful dash attack, as both Gyro and Valkyrie run into the opponent and the second move making Valkyrie spin around and stomp very hard. His grabs cause him to create a ball of air that he launches at the opponent (similar to how Gyro teaches the spin technique to Johnny).
Another perk of a being a Part 7 character, Gyro can collect the corpse part around the stage. If the player managed to collect all three of them, both of Gyro's bar will hit maximum level, granting all of his attacks longer range and power.
Gyro's HHA is a double Steel Ball attack which can be done on the horse as well. When he has a corpse part, he uses his scan ability. His GHA is a steel ball attack with Ball Breaker which invokes the super spin, lifting the target into the air as a result.
Most of his alternate costumes are based on manga and chapter covers. Gyro's first taunt makes him smile while saying his catch phrase "Nyo~ho" as the camera zooms in on his iconic teeth "GO!GO!ZEPPELI" and his second taunt will make Gyro sing the Mozzarella song.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven
In Eyes of Heaven Gyro has the most styles out of any character: his Stand, his horse and the Spin.
Trivia
- Araki personally liked the Jonathan-Zeppeli relationship from Phantom Blood and wanted to retell it again for a longer coming-of-age story. He chose to make Johnny and Gyro around the same age so they could be less formal and more friendly than their original counterparts. Gyro's random jokes and Johnny's trivial use of his spinning nails were included to reflect this concept.

The likely namesake for his given name is the gyroball baseball pitch, a difficult throw popular in Japanese baseball circles.
