The parents of Shigekiyo Yangu. They used to call their son by the nickname "Shige-chan" until it eventually turned into "Shigechi" as a nickname. While Shigechi introduces himself to Josuke and Okuyasu during their first meeting, he mentions his mom scolded him when he licked a bunch of stamps to see if the glue tasted different depending on the stamp. He then pulled out a photo of her to show to them.

Later, when Kira gravely injures Shigechi, Kira threatens to kill Shigechi's parents if he doesn't tell him about the other Stand users he knows of within Morioh. He assures him that he won't do anything to them if he talks. While trying to reach Josuke and Okuyasu to warn them about Kira, Shigechi proclaims he'll protect his parents from the killer and won't let someone like him live in the same town as them.
