Ryoko Kakyoin
Ryoko (涼子, Ryouko) is a character featured in the spin-off Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak. She is Noriaki Kakyoin's cousin. Ten years ago, Ryoko was also approached by DIO and somehow escaped. She is now spending a few days in Morioh after paying her respect to Kakyoin's grave and suddenly stumbles upon a strange book.
Appearance
Ryoko is a young Japanese girl who's just entered university. She's svelte and of small stature, being more than a head smaller than Hol Horse. She has fine facial features although nothing really distinguishes her. She has long hair pulled back into a short ponytail, with some hair on the side of her head being tied into a braid. She has a notable twisting bang on the right side of her face. Like Kakyoin before her, she wears single cherry earrings.
Ryoko wears a light shirt with short sleeves and decorated with a dark neck tie, a long dark skirt, and loafers with spotted socks.
Personality
Not much is known about Ryoko, as she only briefly appears in the story so far. Ryoko is attached to her cousin Noriaki Kakyoin and to his memory. Even ten years after his death, she takes the time to visit and mourn over Kakyoin's grave just before the academic year begins.
Ryoko seems to have known DIO and is deeply marked by him. In fact, the sight of a bird's shadow flying past here is enough to trigger a memory of DIO approaching Ryoko.
History
Ryoko is Noriaki Kakyoin's cousin. At one point in her childhood, she met DIO in Cairo. DIO apparently tried to seduce her to his side, but she escaped somehow. She also lost someone important to her that night and she was marked by the sight of a bird flying high in the air.
In March 1999, Ryoko has just been admitted at the university. Before the academic year begins, Ryoko goes to Morioh to pay her respect to Kakyoin's grave. There, she tearfully asks why he "disappeared" from his family's life. Going back to town, Ryoko calls someone to inform them of her whereabouts and says that she plans on staying for several days at Morioh. Suddenly, she sees a strange comic-book on the floor and picks it up. Skimming the pages, she sees a line predicting that Hol Horse will see DIO. She recognizes DIO's name and she reminisces Kakyoin obeying DIO's orders. Someone approaches and Ryoko takes the book with her, hiding it in her bag. She then passes by Hol Horse himself.
