Leo (レオ, Reo) is a man with a distinctive haircut who buys an $80,000 watch from Diamotch for his girlfriend. He puts sunscreen on her back after she asks him to. He looks around upon seeing a flock of birds fly near them.[1] They return back to their car and he complains to his girlfriend for sticking her fingers in weird places on his body while putting sunscreen on. Leo is unable to drive as Jodio and his friends are standing in front of his car, so he complains to them to move. Paco grabs his throat to check if his skin feels like sand like their enemy, but can't tell because of the sunscreen and his beard. Instead, Paco asks him and his girlfriend to show their ankles so he could see if they're injured.

Jodio opens the door on the passenger side and finds their assailant fused with the door, who is about to stab Leo's girlfriend. Jodio stops him by kicking her away, but the assailant shatters the door's window with his knife and escapes. Leo berates Jodio for assaulting his girlfriend and breaking his car's window, but Paco tells him to stop complaining or he'll give Leo a real injury. Suddenly, his girlfriend's watch falls off her wrist and bounces off Leo's foot, sliding toward the beach. Leo tries looking for the watch in the water while his girlfriend insults him and complains that he lost it. She decides to leave him, announcing she'll get a ride with someone else instead.[2]

Manga Debut: The JOJOLands Chapter 12: Charming Man (Flashback)
Namesake: Mauka: "mountain side" in Hawaiian / Mauka Meadows Coffee Farm
Mauka (マウカ) is the younger brother of Charming Man. He is under eighteen years old and lives with his elder brother on a farm. The two of them had a brotherly argument one day on the outskirts of their farm, which someone ended up reporting to the police. The next day, they raced each other on their bicycles in a valley at Hualālai. Charming Man taunted Mauka for being too slow, causing Mauka to wonder if he was planning on doing an ironman triathlon. As Charming Man mentioned that they would be racing each other in a 2-mile swim as well once they get to the beach, there was a fallen tree in their path. Charming Man evaded it, but Mauka suddenly fell off his bike and slid into a lava tube. Despite Charming Man's pleas, police would not assist in the search to find Mauka, not believing his story that the lava tube Mauka fell into was full of water as water does not flow at Hualālai.
Sophie WhiteLink to this section

Sophie White (ソフィ・ホワイト, Sofi Howaito) is a young clerk working at the Hawaii State Land Registry Office. She is the daughter of a congressman in the House of Representatives.[3] She examines Charming Man's license and initially only allows the gang to view digital data of HOWLER's land deeds. However, Charming Man insists to see the paper records, so she asks one of her coworkers for permission. They're allowed to view the records, so the clerk accompanies them and wears gloves, as she is the only one allowed to handle the documents. She flips the pages while Usagi looks at them.[4] After the gang leaves, the woman's heart is attacked by a Stand user from HOWLER and she falls unconscious, with blood splurting out from her eyes. An ambulance takes her away on a stretcher.[3] Later, Sophie is seen in the hospital's ICU. Her father mourns her, stating she is a kind woman who was cheerful and lively that morning, making him an egg breakfast and a café au lait while talking about the baseball player Ohtani. Shortly after, her ECG monitor flatlines.[5] After Bobby Jean and Lulu are defeated, she recovers.[6]

Manga Debut: The JOJOLands Chapter 15: Aim for That Fifty Billion Dollars, Part 2 (Mentioned only)
The JOJOLands Chapter 16: Lulu's Bags Groove, Part 1 (1st full appearance)
Congressman White (ホワイト議員, Howaito Giin) is a politician in the Hawaii House of Representatives who is investigating the illegal activities regarding water sources on HOWLER's land. His daughter Sophie works as a clerk at the Hawaii State Land Registry Office.[3]

He cries in the hospital's ICU after Sophie suddenly falls severely ill due to Bags Groove. He is shown to be caring of his daughter, although regrets not acting against HOWLER fast enough. He believes that her sudden illness was a poisoning enacted by them, as an act of terrorism to make him remain silent on their crimes since he's been getting threats for a while. One of his associates tells him not to sign the document allowing the state to seize HOWLER's land yet, since there's too little evidence and it could become a liability for him. His associate argues that they still need to be certain before he signs it. White retorts that they'll find proof if they use the state's authority to seize their land. The associate tries comforting White and calming him down about Sophie, but he continues crying, especially after her ECG monitor suddenly flatlines. After Bobby Jean and Lulu are defeated, Sophie is saved.[6]

His full name is shown on his signature, but it is unclear.

MackLink to this section
Mack Infobox.png
Mack (マック, Makku) is an employee who works at Dolphin Bank. He and other employees from the bank show up at Acca Howler's private immigration gate when Howler arrives at Honolulu. Howler tries to rudely dismiss Mack, but Mack insists on delivering urgent news regarding Howler's land at Hualalai being authorized for seizure by the state government, with approval from other congressmen following Congressman White's authorization. Mack believes that Howler will be accused of falsely claiming to install waterworks in Hualalai's water veins to misappropriate public tax money. Mack demands immediate repayment for the 38 billion dollar loan that Dolphin Bank had lent to HOWLER Company.

Howler is shocked by this betrayal, arguing that he borrowed the money based on the bank's advice for constructing the Honolulu head office and purchasing other lands on Oahu. Despite this, Mack declares Howler's impending bankruptcy and insists on repayment, either in cash or land. Although their bank is involved with the crimes, Mack believes that only Howler will be considered guilty. He calls Howler a country bumpkin and hopes this will be the end of his conceited attitude before driving away with the rest of the bank staff.[7]

Mack starts having stomach pains, claiming to feel nervous about collecting from Howler since it involves a huge amount of money. He goes to the hospital to get a prescription for stomach medicine, but is suddenly shot in the head by Glory Days.[8]
