It introduces the dog Stand user Iggy and the Joestar Group's ambush in the middle of the Sahara by N'Doul.
Summary
Upon arriving in Egypt, Jotaro, Joseph, Avdol, Kakyoin, and Polnareff meet up with representatives of the Speedwagon Foundation who have brought the user of The Fool Stand on behalf of Joseph to aid them on their journey. They are told by Joseph that this particular Stand user has an 'attitude problem' and it took much effort to get them here, and also that their Stand is extremely powerful, to the point where it might not be possible for them to defeat it. However, they are unaware about who the actual Stand user is and initially suspect one of the pilots while remaining highly guarded and fearful about the user's strength and apparent bad attitude.
After the Stand user is pointed out to be sleeping on the back seat of the helicopter, Polnareff wonders how this is possible considering only a blanket lies there. It is then that the pilots tell Polnareff that the user is under the blanket, to which he starts laughing about their height while slapping the seat. The Stand user then wakes up, revealing itself to be a dog Iggy, and engages in a Stand battle with Polnareff. At the other side of the desert, the blind Stand user N'Doul notices the new member of the Joestar Group.[1]
In their car while going to the city, the group grows accustomed to Iggy's brash attitude. They spot the crashed helicopter of the Speedwagon Foundation representatives and prepares for an incoming Stand ambush attack. Jotaro notices that the representatives oddly died from drowning. Suddenly, a liquid from a water canteen attacks the group. Kakyoin is nearly blinded when the Stand, Geb slashes his eyes. Before it moves to attack Polnareff, an alarm clock rings, distracting both N'Doul and Geb.[2]
The group successfully drives further away until the sand beneath them turns into liquid, trapping them in place and swallowing the vehicle. Avdol fails to outsmart Geb's attacks and gets his neck slashed. Jotaro runs toward Iggy and takes advantage of his Stand, The Fool, and its ability to fly in order to track down N'Doul.[3] Soon, Jotaro lands near the Stand user and narrowly avoids being slashed by Geb thanks to Star Platinum's speed. Unafraid to die, N'Doul uses his own Stand and kills himself to avoid getting interrogated about DIO's whereabouts. After burying his body, Jotaro and Iggy, settling a truce between them, return to the rest of the Joestar group.[4]
