All of the energy that had been released by Ripple users up to now danced gracefully in the wind of The House of Earth, swirling and evoking images of the warriors' faces appearing and disappearing in a flash of golden light, like memories in a revolving lantern of life.
El Aleph Chapter 19: XIX - Final Arc

The House of Earth (ザ・ハウス・オブ・アース, Za Hausu obu Āsu) is the Stand of Lisa Lisa, featured in the light novel El Aleph.

She is a close-range Stand that uses her fists for combat and generates ferocious winds that scorch her foes. Lisa Lisa awakens it when she is around 97 years old by using a replica of the Arrow created by Yawar Fiesta.[1] She decides to only use the Stand once in her lifetime in the battle against El Aleph.[2]

Appearance

The House of Earth is a humanoid Stand with a feminine figure and a majestic form, described to have supple contours and curves. Her body has the brilliance and hardness of rubies. Her hair, face, and fists are all red and she has an archaic smile. On her breasts are patterns of the sun and moon. The House of Earth also has a swollen abdomen, representing diaphragmatic breathing, which glows bright red like the earth ablaze. A comet tail trails behind her when she moves, covering her body with rainbow-colored dust like sequins.[2]

When first summoning the Stand, Lisa Lisa feels pressure in her eardrums like taking off in an airplane. A flickering red light also projects behind her retina,[3] until she manages to manifest the humanoid appearance.[2]

Personality

The House of Earth is referred to as a woman and described with female pronouns.[2] However, she shows no particular personality. Her Stand Rush is "YAWAYAWAYAWA!", which can mean "soft" or "gentle", implying Lisa Lisa held back on Octavio and Joaquín as she didn't want to actually hurt them.

Abilities

It was like a never-ending dream for a Ripple user. Imagine if Lisa Lisa's specially knitted scarf was unraveled strand by strand, and the strands were blown with each gust of wind. The oldest known user of la Maravilla was endowed with an extraordinary power, a crystallization of a life marked by intense battles.
El Aleph Chapter 19: XIX - Final Arc

The House of Earth is a powerful close-range Stand with extraordinary speed. When not generating wind, she fights with her fists, capable of shattering stone platforms. She can throw an extremely fast barrage of punches as well. As The House of Earth is a projection of Lisa Lisa's soul, the Stand doesn't suffer from Lisa Lisa's weakened limbs from old age. Thus, Lisa Lisa can rely on her Stand to fight for her without having to worry about hip or knee pain. Her ability is a culmination of the Ripple technique inherited from several warriors throughout the centuries.[2]

Solar Wind Generation

When the Stand arches her chest and draws in a deep breath of air into her lungs, then puffs out her cheeks and forcefully exhales, an intense wind is generated. The wind exhaled has the force of a hurricane according to the Beaufort scale, with its speed seeming to reach 35 meters per second. It can tilt trees and make it impossible for people to stand. The molecules making up the gas ionize and split into cations and electrons, making it actually possess qualities extremely similar to solar wind. It carries intense heat and countless airborne particles, consisting of cinnabar, lead, titanium, mercury, and other elements drawn up from the earth which are all superconductors.[2]

If The House of Earth's wind were to blow through a city, it would cause intense geomagnetic fluctuations with its high-density plasma. Electrical devices would break, and power plants and substations would be destroyed, leading to a widespread power outage.[2]

When The House of Earth stops blowing out air and the night from El Aleph dissipates, the solar wind creates an aurora overflowing with shades of red, green, and purple that shift in gradation. It is believed to be caused from solar wind affecting the Earth's magnetofield.[2]

Ripple Infusion

Since the fierce wind of The House of Earth consists of superconducting particles, it can be infused with the energy of the Ripple. Lisa Lisa is capable of directing the Ripple Overdrive at targets without needing water, oil, or biological mediums as intermediaries. When doing so, the sparkling golden wind wipes out the horde of El Aleph's eldritch creatures born from the darkness, burning them as if they are being purified.[2]

The House of Earth's wind is said to carry the Ripple energy released by all users of the ancient art. Lisa Lisa sees the images of the warriors' faces appearing and disappearing in a flash of golden light, like her memories flashing in a revolving lantern.[2]
