A Demon's End (Fire and Ice, Jonathan and Dio - Part 3 in the JoJonium release) is the forty-first chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the forty-first chapter of Part I: Phantom Blood.

Summary

Jonathan's overdrive tears through Dio and begins melting him from the inside. Dio's body is sent flying off the balcony and slowly begins to disintegrate. As a last resort, Dio fires off a Space Ripper Beam from his eyes, managing to pierce through Jonathan's hand and cut the ceiling in half. Jonathan falls down and weeps for the death of his stepbrother, while the others finish taking care of the other zombies.

Just before the Ripple reaches his head, Dio decapitates himself, ensuring that the Ripple wouldn't spread to his brain. Nearby Wang Chan appears and picks up Dio's head, taking it with him into the night. He mentions that Dio would need another body.

News spreads of the events that occurred that night, involving Jonathan's group burning Dio's clothes and removing the evidence. Speedwagon also takes a sledgehammer to the Stone Mask and destroys it. A boat had also been apparently hijack that night.

Morning arrives, and Speedwagon is seen reading from a newspaper: 1889 2/2, Jonathan and Erina marry. The paper also says they would be having their honeymoon on a ship to America the next day. Speedwagon looks up from the newspaper, only to notice he is late to see them off and quickly runs out the door. He accidentally bumps into a crew of men hauling a coffin, but eventually reaches the rest of the gang to see Jonathan and Erina off.
