Tubular Bells is the stand of Mike O. featured in Part VII: Steel Ball Run.

Abilities

Tubular Bells is an ability-granting stand without a personality nor a physical manifestation. In this it's similar to other Steel Ball Run stands like Scary Monsters or Scan. The mechanism behind this stand is simple, but its user manages to exploit it in different ways:

• Inflate: The stand's basic power essentially grants its user the ability to inflate metal items like needles thus turning them into balloons by simply blowing into them. Once inflated, the item acquires the properties of rubber and can be easily manipulated manipulated like a regular gummy balloon, fitting with Mike O.'s clown attire.

• Man's Best Friend: Furthermore, should it assume the shape of a living being, the balloon will be giving a life of its own and will carry the same characteristics as the animal they resemble, such as a dog's sense of smell and tracking ability. The balloons follow their master's orders, but are capable of performing simple tasks by their own. When the balloon animals make contact with their target, they burrow into their body and transform into their original form. It should be noted that since the balloon-animals are capable of acting on their own without Mike O. directly giving orders, Tubular Bells is the only semi-automatic stand featured in Steel Ball Run.

• Flying death: The same ability could be used to make the balloons assume the shape of a bird and thus allowing them to fly. By converting a flat heavy metal objecy into a Hot-Air Balloon, it is possible to obtain guillotines with enough strengh to tear down a wall.
