Survivor (サバイバー, Sabaibā) is the Stand of Guccio featured in Stone Ocean.

Appearance

Survivor appears as a multitude of small round and flat creatures equipped with two eyes, a small mouth, and a multitude of tentacles sprouting from the main body which form a ring around it.

Ability

Fighting Spirit Stimulation: Survivor travels across wet surfaces and stimulates the human limbic system with a tiny electric potential of 0.07 Volts and an otherwise negligible current, which is stated to increase an individual's anger or fighting spirit. Any two individuals who meet under Survivor's influence are likely to fight to the death. Additionally, during combat, fighters are enabled by Survivor to "see" one another's "strong spots" and "weak points".

Trivia

• DIO names Survivor as the "weakest" Stand he had ever encountered because its ability does not distinguish between allies and enemies.

• Since Guccio's ability to make other people fight combines with Survivor, Guccio remained unaffected by Survivor.

• Its ability to boost fighting spirit may be associated with the band Survivor's two songs for the Rocky franchise: "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky III and "Burning Heart" from Rocky IV.
