Stand Types
Close Range Stand
These stands are known for being able to hit hard and having small active radii, but generally they follow their user's will. Example: Star Platinum, Silver Chariot, Crazy Diamond
Remote control Stand
These Stands also follow their user's will. However, these stands tend to have ranged attacks at the cost of being unable to defend themselves in close combat. Examples: Hierophant Green, Aerosmith Many many qulatiy points there. Many many qulatiy points there.
Ability Stand
Stands that grant their users an superhuman ability of their own. The User uses the ability without a Stand Physical Form.
Examples: Scary Monster, Scan
Automated Stand
Stands that act on their own. They follow a simple objective without following orders. Their users do not have to be present for the Stands to do anything, as these stands are known for having a range that is close to infinite. Also, due the stand being automated, if the stand takes any damage, the user will not recieve any damage at all. Ignoring the rule of being if a stand is injured, the user will be injured too.
Examples: Black Sabbath, Notorious B.I.G., Baby Face
Multiple Forms Stand/Evolved Stands
A few stands have the ability to evolve; becoming stronger and allowing their user to use the stand in different forms with new/different powers.
Combined Stand
Stands that have many abilities involving different types
Examples: Killer Queen, Whitesnake
