Mario Zeppeli is a character in Part II: Battle Tendency.
Synopsis
Sometime during Caesar's youth, Mario would leave his wife and son without telling them about his investigation on the pillar men, earning him the hatred of his son.
Years later, Mario would head to the site where the pillar men were discovered, unknowingly trailed by his bloodthirsty son. When Caesar stops to pick a jewel from the wall, Mario saves him by pushing him out of the way of Wham's trap, and becomes absorbed into the wall. This earns him Caesar's admiration post mortem, and causes him to seek revenge against the pillar men. It is unknown if he recognized his son when he died.
