Come on, shush! We're about to investigate a secret hideout. Each one of you, be a cool spy and sneak in quietly. The one who finds a clue gets a special treat of worm pasta, so no noise, okay?

El Obsceno Pájaro de la Noche (エル・オブセノ・パハロ・デ・ラ・ノーチエ (夜のみだらな島), Eru Obuseno Paharo de ra Nōchie, lit. The Obscene Bird of Night) is the Stand of Sasha Loggins, featured in the light novel rey infinito. Sasha also shortens its name to El Pájaro (エル・パハロ (鳥さん), Eru Paharo, lit. The Bird) or Rebaño (レバーニョ (群れ), Rebānyo, lit. Flock).[1]

It allows Sasha to summon a colony of birds of all kinds of breeds for reconnaissance, flight, and swarming the enemy with their strikes.

Appearance

When El Obsceno Pájaro de la Noche first awakens, it hatches as a flock of hairless chicks from Sasha's baseball cap. They quickly grow into adult birds of various breeds and sizes. Although they are imitating real birds, the Stand differs in body color and shape compared to the actual breeds.[2]

They look similar to wild birds inhabiting Central and South America, such as toucans, quetzals, Andean condors, hummingbirds, and macaws. Unlike real birds, their beaks and feathers are covered in a silk-like luster, and common geometric patterns appear on their chests and throats. Some have too many flight feathers, overly dangling wattles, or more than two legs. 12 years after Sasha awakens the Stand, they can form a swarm so large that it's impossible to grasp the total number. Although the birds are invisible to non-Stand users, power lines that they're perched on would sag.[1]

Personality

El Pájaro follows the instincts of real birds, even though they aren't real organisms. When they first hatch, the birds fight each other with their beaks, constantly chirp, and threaten each other as if they are competing to be the leader. They also try to fly without any fear of crashing or falling. Even if they fall down, they immediately turn their bodies over and attempt to fly again. They persistently carry out their mission by flying, regardless of whether they'll fall on the way.[2]

The birds tear apart caterpillars, eat real worms, and perch on power lines. Sasha finds them troublesome because of their omnivorous and greedy nature, leading to squabbles over food. They even defecate mid-flight, dirtying Sasha's hat and shoulders with droppings. Their cries are audible to non-Stand users, so their loud chirps and chattering often cause neighborhood troubles.[1]

Abilities

Bird Generation and Manipulation

When Sasha first awakens her Stand, El Obsceno Pájaro de la Noche hatches a flock of chicks inside her baseball cap while it is turned inside-out. The growth rate of the chicks vary for each individual, but all of them rapidly grow within minutes. First, their tail feathers and flight feathers sprout, and then some of them are able to fly several centimeters before falling. They fully grow into various bird breeds such as crows, pheasants, toucans, kingfishers, cuckoos, woodpeckers, sandpipers, and parakeets.

The birds can then be controlled by their user. They will handle flight missions such as carrying Sasha's Ripple-conductive braided cord around to where she needs it to be.[2]

When Sasha develops her Stand, she can instantly summon her entire flock already fully-grown. They have the same flight ability as normal birds, can fly one to two kilometers away from Sasha's body, and have high mobility and endurance.[1] Sasha controls them using falconry, scattering her birds to protect allies while maintaining the offensive. Her flock would spiral in the air and plummet down like a waterfall, pecking at vulnerable spots using their beak tips, such as their opponents' eyes, ears, lips, and throats. Aside from their beaks, they can strike with their wings or use their claws to slash enemies.[3] Sasha also uses them for evasion, relying on her birds to fly her or her allies away.[4]

In addition, El Pájaro is capable of gathering together to combine the flock into a giant, monstrous bird.[3]
