Author's Note
In every tankōbon volume of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the front flap of the dust jacket usually contains a picture of Hirohiko Araki himself and, more often than not, a unique note by him addressed to the reader. These usually allow Araki to express his opinions on various subjects, which range from information about JoJo's characters or story to tangents about recent incidents in his life.
These notes are excluded in all subsequent releases, including digital releases. VIZ Media's original English release of Part 3 included each author's note on the first page of the corresponding volume; in the hardcover releases of Part 4 onward, the notes from each compiled tankōbon are instead provided on the final page of the volume.
